Functional Lid Surgery
Cosmetic lid surgery is best left to the eye plastic surgeons. If a patient wants cosmetic surgery, he or she will be referred to a competent plastic surgeon. However, surgery for lid lesions and lid mal-positions can be expertly managed by Dr. Davison. Many procedures can be performed in the office as a minor surgical procedure. Selected cases are performed in the surgical center.
Below is a patient with an entropion, where the lower lid turns in and the lashes irritate the eye. This repair would be performed at the surgery center with an excellent success rate.
