Dr. Price is your Optometrist
Optometrists are individuals who have attended four years of undergraduate college, followed by four years of optometry school with the final achievement of a degree as a doctor of optometry.
We are health care providers who are trained to examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the visual system. Assessing vision conditions like nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia and eye focusing and coordination issues is only part of what we do. We also examine the internal and external structures of the eye to diagnose eye diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, and disorders of the retina.
Born and raised in Mechanicville NY, Dr. Price has been practicing optometry for 8 years. She is a graduate of Siena College where she recieved a Bachelors degree in Chemistry after which she attended The New England College of Optometry in Boston. She specializes in primary care Optometry which includes performing annual diabetic eye exams, fitting contact lenses and co-managing Dr. Davison's cataract patients.
